Sure it makes potential Invaders think twice when there are more guns in this nation than people approximately.

Which "salvation" are you talking about? The part where Jesus demands you abandon your family and friends if they do't kiss his ass? Or the part where he says he does not bring peace but a sword?
And where do you think your religion came from if not the Jews? Hate to burst your bubble, but your religion is a spin off of Hebrews, and their religion is a spin off of Canaanite polytheism.
Their religion is no spinoff. There always was the one true Lord.

If guns are no threat why are your panties in such a tight wad up your ass?
Either guns are a threat or they' re not. Quit trying to play both sides of the street.

Guns are threat, yes. To children. Irresponsible gun owners don't seem to care about that.

QUESTIONS FOR SUPPORTERS OF GUN RIGHTS
1. Should ANY firearms be prohibited?
2. Should people convicted of violent crimes have their gun rights taken away for an as-yet-to-be-determined probationary period?
3. Should firearms owners be required to purchase liability insurance?
4. Should there be a minimum age at which a person is allowed to handle a firearm, even under adult supervision?
5. While reading up on US gun laws for another thread, I learned that while some states have a three, or five, or seven day waiting period to buy a gun, some states have an exception: If the background check isn't completed within the time frame, the sale goes through. Is this a bad idea?

Yes. Ugly ones.
2. Should people convicted of violent crimes have their gun rights taken away for an as-yet-to-be-determined probationary period?
No. Those people should be launched into space without a spacesuit.
3. Should firearms owners be required to purchase liability insurance?
Yes. As should the owners of swords, knives and any .pointy or blunt object capable of killing.
4. Should there be a minimum age at which a person is allowed to handle a firearm, even under adult supervision?
18 weeks.

They should employ psychics - who would know ahead of time you want a gun - and they' ll simply send it to you and bill you later.
