Of course, I am talking about topics that REALLY matter.  If you are free to say things about the really important topics, those things are probably untrue.  If you aren't allowed to speak them, they are probably true.  In my case, that is what I have found to be true.  Because I hand people a redpill.  For those who take it, they are repulsed by the reality.  It is as the old saying goes, "Ignorance is bliss."

  The reason for this is that most people are filthy, stinking, liars at heart.  They think that lies are the way to go.  Even animals are known to use deception.  So it's no wonder that humans do too.  But with the effect we can have on this planet, lies just aren't the way to go.  Also, lies are most likely to lead to bad ends.  Then people have to tell themselves even bigger lies to make those bad ends seem not so bad.  And so on and so on and so on.  Until we get to where we are now.  Which isn't a good place.

I don't think this is a good criteria for reliably discerning truth.

Maybe provide an example or two just to see where you're coming from.

I think I'll understand you better if you give some examples of this. Are you speaking of political issues? Who controls the world, that kind of thing?

Just recently I was told on this forum that it isn't truth that's important, it's team sports. If you're on the good team, it doesn't really matter whether what you say is true or false.

Again, are you thinking of some specific cases that we could discuss?
