Exposing the truth about somebody can lead to a very different outcome than the current; sometimes people would not see until truth gets stomped against their faces.

Instead of the image of the Republican party controlling the trial, imagine the image of a witness stating and proving what Trump did.

The second image is what haunted Republicans so much to the degree of even denying witnesses.

Trump might've walked innocent after the trial; but trying to wipe the second image and denying its painting would ring and haunt him even more.

It can even start a civil war.

So there have been almost 1000 deaths caused by this virus in China and people in all countries are freaking out, and YET just in China 2 million people a year dies because they inhale toxic fumes in the air caused by burning oil and nobody even blinks. Wonder why?
Or in 2015 study it was discovered that around 10 000 people in London dies every year because of exposure to pollution and again: normal.

Witnesses can influence the masses and that exactly what Republicans feared.
