It's all possible, I suppose, but I'm a little skeptical. It's not like you to hold out on being half something for this long.
take it up with my mother which in fact is 1/2 chinese as her mom was chinese/mandarin my grandfather was korean which iguess technically i'm 1/4 chinese and 1/4 korean. never said anything about indians. i do remember having a fight about proper use or identification of the word indian/injun. (which is no different than calling someone cajun.)
infact korea is a mix of china and japan. we share alot of words tradition with both. as both larger countries annexed korea several times exploiting them for food and resources.
the last annexation was after WWI when the US awarded korea to japan a then ally, who promptly killed off all the ruling class or brought them to japan as 'guests' to live next to the emperor. while retaining title all lands were given over and korea because a living slave state till the end of WWII.
My mom and grandmother use to tell terrible stories of japanese oppression and cruelty. I grew up hating japanese like black people hated whites, the only thing was i had names and faces saw the bend backs old scars and broken constitutions.
Infact had a grandfather on both sides of WWII.

Well, there is a difference. Native Americans object to the term ‘injun’, while Cajuns don’t object to being called ‘Cajuns’.
I know, I know - both terms stem from mispronunciations (of ‘Indian’ and ‘Acadian’ respectively), but so what? ‘N*gger’ comes from a mispronunciation of ‘negro’ - that doesn’t mean it’s a proper appellation to use of someone.

it is a pejorative term in the same way Indian or american indian is to certain individuals. most native americans do not care, and some even have adopted it as their own N word. (we can say it you cant) In the time when the word was popularized again in the 1950 and 60s it had a neutral meaning more in line with how hollywood casted the role.
it's like anything else. you can mean it in an evil way and it be received as such or you can say it in an innocent way and some but hurt elizabeth warren type 1/65,000 ( which puts her kinship with the inuit people before they crossed the landbridge in the great migration across the frozen artic between russian and alaska.)
At which point I would have probably said my blood lines being from central asia have more incommon than her's.
in truth it is an individual pov if you are of that ancestory to which i do not think anyone will argue.
