I’ve got that one! A print, not the original, signed by The Man himself.

Frazetta went to California to help film that one. A reporter asked him what he thought of Hollywood women.

"Disappointing." Hilarious

If you're going to read Discworld books, I recommend not starting with the first couple. Pratchett was just finding his feet with those and they can be difficult to read.

"Guards! Guards!" And "Reaperman" are good starting points.

One introduces my favourite Discworld character: Sir Samuel Vimes

Boss Lady has offered to guide me in the reading. (Makes mental note to tell her that she volunteered.)

Good advice. I went nuts over ‘The Colour Of Magic’ and almost abandoned the series when I read ‘The Light Fantastic’.

Glad I came to my senses.

Was it the octarine color on ‘The Light Fantastic’ cover that you didn't like?

I have a few Pratchett Discworld books. I discovered him only a few years ago. Just finished 'A Blink of the Screen'. The Valkyrie and I talked about Granny Weatherwax in another thread, and she mentioned that she liked Nanny Ogg better. I can understand why. Granny Weatherwax was quite a pill in 'The Wyrd Sisters'. As far as fictional bars go, what's the name of the one Spider Robinson's characters hung out in? Callahan's?
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

No, it was the story. I found it a tremendous let down compared to the first one.
