We can't see each other's expressions, we can't hear each others voices, we can't reason with eachother. I can't stress enough that people are different in person, you and me both.
Many people also have this idea that if you don't like someone online you won't like them in person, that's ridiculous. No matter how unkind people have been here on this forum to me I'd drop everything I'm doing to meet any of you, it's just really different to connect a real person to a name. If you're ever in Washington DC, let me know. I'd like to meet you.
Aside from the impracticality of meeting people from this forum, I can only reiterate what Rhythm said. You'd better start understanding that I find your views abhorrent. I cannot like a person like you, because the things you say and stand for disgust me. And as I mentioned to you before when you accused me of being 'scared' to meet you (how laughable), if I were in your city, meeting you would be way, way down my list of priorities, somewhere between having my balls removed with a cheese grater and forcing the Washington monument up my arsehole. I suspect my feelings mirror the feelings of others. I hope this point is now unmistakeably clear.
crystal clear. Still... if you find yourself in trouble, let me know. I often walk by the fountain at Du Pont circle. I know you're against me, but it doesn't hurt to have a plan in case something doesn't go right on your trip.

Your eyes wouldn't intimidate or feel intense to me at all. I'd be willing to wager that they I would find them vacant and entirely benign. I wouldn't like you in person, as I mentioned very very early on in our dealings, and you have reenforced this with a good 90% of your posts. I cannot stand people who hold the beliefs you hold. I cannot stand people who trot out fairy tales and call them facts. Nothing about your presence or person will change this.
Ok. Call me if you're in Washington DC sometime. We'll hang out!
Hmmm, in my view there is no difference between sexism, racism and homophobia. All are equally distasteful and pre-judgmental.
And when you try to hold up your homophobic bigotry in the name of christian piety.... that just makes it worse.

When it is time, yes. My point was that when someone dies, it is because God allowed it to happen. That He deciides it is time. He doesn't approve of sin, but obviously He allows it to happen because of free will.

So god allows abortions to happen because he decides it is time for that foetus to die?

Your point can be universally applied to any loss of life. Your specific argument is just an appeal to emotion..if someone is murdered, that is a sin..God doesn't approve of sin. He didn't want that person to be murdered. But He allows it to happen because of free will..

And hell is an appeal to emotion, as is heaven. Goose and gander.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I am making no argument, and certainly not appealing to emotion.
You stated quite catergorically that no-one dies until god decides they should.
And now you are saying that's not actually the case.
So what is it?
Lucent?
Lucent????
Gee, where'd he go?

This proves we can bend a Christian completely over backwards, except for catholic choir boys.
