Really? Including the white supremicists? No? Ok..
What about the far right of the Republican party? No? Ok.. Not them either.
What about NRA members? Uh uh? Ok.. I guess that's too much to ask...
What about Communists? I assume there is some of those still running around. Is Joe going to support Communists?
What about all those nice Christian folks that need their rights to discriminate against gays, atheists and other assorted misfits? Ol' Joe going to stand by them too?

Simple fact - you CAN'T represent everyone...
You can just say you do - even though it isn't true?

'Represent' doesn't mean 'support'. The groups you mentioned are not answerable to the president, he is answerable to them.
That's what 'represent' means. It means you don't play favourites. It means you protect the rights of white supremacists, of far-right Republicans, of NRA members, of communists and of bigoted Christians in precisely the same way and to the same extent you protect the rights of your base.
I feel like I shouldn't have to explain this.

The nuts are well represented in abortion law, anyway....I can't imagine how the specifics of this issue could support the point that OLB is trying to make.

Some lies are flat out dangerous. Now sorry, I think Reagan, outside his bad economic policies had good intent. I believe him when he said he wanted to be a uniter. I aslo believe Biden and Obama when they said the same. I agreed with the first gulf war because Saddam was the aggressor, and while I did not vote for Bush Sr, I supported him then.
A politician saying what they think will get them the most votes is always going to be part of politics. But there are dangerous lies that go way beyond normal politics.
No other president in my lifetime has ever consistently on a daily basis lit match after match after match like Trump has.
Mitt paid for his 47% comment and lost. McCain lost for sticking up for Obama. Hillary lost because she made that "deplorable" comment.
But all of them conceded their losses to preserve the peaceful transfer of power.
It is true no politician can give 100% of everything to everyone all the time. But this is our system, and it will never be a utopia. Using the language of unity is to calm divisions, not to create a utopia.

Yea and? We still as a pluralistic society need to avoid what happened Wednesday.
