A question about atheistic “beliefs” (opinions, guesses, etc.)

No angst for me on this. I love the give and take.

And I understand. I know how much you people want me to be one of you...so you can claim that this (pointing at me) is what atheism is.

Sorry, but no sale.

Try to deal with the rejection with a bit more class. You can fake it!

Nothing to “sell.” Your opinion of the definition of a word doesn’t matter to anyone. That’s all.

Wiser words were never spoken.

Oh, it's worse.

Frank has wandered back into the etymology of the word "atheism" and merely selected the earliest meaning as the only meaning possible.

That is bloody "nice".

If one gave it a moments thought, which he clearly has not, we could do that with lots of words and render language utterly meaningless.

Wouldn't that be "nice"?

Note for Frank, using your rules, that means "bloody stupid".

Well, Scooter, is that the only gif in your arsenal?  Someone with all your forum experience should have more than one.

Of course, you only have an argument for semantics, and insults.

Have some class.
I've got lots more, but I really like that one. Apparently you don't.

Tough.

Taking lessons in class from you is like taking them from Trump. And he has none at all.

Ya know by now that repeating the same things over and over again is considered spamming.

Frankie’s just a garden-variety troll with nothing else to fill the empty hours of his life with except joining internet forums and harassing them until he gets the ban hammer. Lather, rinse, repeat. One can only fathom the deep, psychological forces at play in such bizarre, repetitive and dishonest behavior.

Nah. It's a fun chew toy.

Next step will be "Aha, you admit a god may exist" and from there one can write the script.

Part of the reason he's been here so long it the chew toy aspect.

It's certainly not his wit, charm, or any other actual contributions to the forum.

Gnaw away for now. We have our quota of trolls here. We don't need this one.

If you be good...you can chew on it for a while longer. Unless he really screws up.

It's the weekend...tomorrow's my birthday...and you asked nicely. Panic
