Recovering after a hard day yesterday. Had a to hose down the kitchen. I do this whenever my feet begin to stick and the floor feels icky in bare feet. Having a dog is a great help, he licks up any spills and extends time between hosing by about a month.

The hosing takes only about 5-8 minutes. Wiping the whole area down with this beaut micro fibre cloth I have,3.5 hours. (the raked ceilings are a bugger without a ladder)

Long drive today in the desert heat on some bad stretches of rough highway in Sinaloa.   Rolled into Mazatlan about half and hour ago, time to find some food and beverages.  Gonna pack up the car at the crack of dawn and drive the remaining 443 km home.   This is going to be the worst driving day, the highway south of Mazatlan to Tepic was hammered by a hurricane a week and a half ago and the coastal road from Tepic to Mazatlan is curvy, slow, with millions of topes (like speedbumps, except they'll wreck your undercarriage if you don't slow way the fuck down).

With any luck we'll be back home in time for feliz hora margaritas.

Well, I've just spent a satisfying hour whipping my linen press into shape . So pleased I took a photo. Was going to post it on Facebook.  Then a  little voice said  "Mate you really need to get out more.
