And the sad thing is I’m disappointed that we somehow haven’t reached the “not even bothering to procreate” stage. Of course, if the math I’ve done is any indication (given that the time between the first and last births was 496 days and that the average age of mice’s first mating is 6-8 weeks [I split the difference and made it 7]), that shit takes about 10 generations. Although I guess we’re, what two or three generations since Calhoun published his findings?
