It's almost as if jokes are subjective... As I pointed out, the overwhelming majority enjoyed the special.

Assault is still legal and no judge or law enforcement officer is going to say "Oh, you say you belong in this restroom? Then carry on with your assault." The fact that I can count the number of verified cases of people invading women's spaces, assaulting them, and claiming to be trans on one hand doesn't help matters.

It's also illegal to hijack a plane, but we don't sit around and wait till it happens, we take preventive measures to ensure peoples safety.

And I didn't even say I wanted him silenced in that thread. Jessie Gender's video raised enough good points to make me think it should at least stay on the platform, and even before that, I pointed out that he could easily just release it himself if Netflix pulls it (Louis CK has done so multiple times, to great success).

If it was a significant enough of a number, wouldn't we see that reflected in the reviews? Like instead of a 95% rating, more of a 70% rating?

(October 31, 2021 at 4:25 am)Rev. Rye Wrote: 4) He mentioned the analogy in a context that indicates he agrees with it. And also, funny thing about trans athletes: they're allowed to compete not merely out of some attack of human decency, but because it turns out that once you go on hormones (especially if you do so for long enough), the physical advantages of being assigned male at birth end up getting neutralised by the effects of testosterone blockers and estrogen. When going on hormones causes a competitive runner to instantly go from 9.5-minute miles to 11-minute miles, that's something to take note of

That's not really anything to take note of, a 9.5 minute mile is slow as hell, for ANYBODY, especially an athlete, are they testing asthma patients? In the army I was running TWO miles in under 12 minutes, and I seen guys do it in under 9, and were not talking professional athletes.

Why are the most out of shape people always used to try and prove transgenders have no advantage?

You're wrong.

If Chappell is team TERF, than he can politely fuck off. Just like Rowling. Just like Dawkins. Trans women are women. Pushing baseless narratives that incite fear of trans women hurts trans women. Period. I don’t understand why anyone would even attempt to argue otherwise.

People are stupid lady, they are just plain stupid.

They fear what they cannot understand. And rather than take the time and effort to understand, hatred, after all, it is the path of least resistance.

Humans, besides being dreadfully stupid, they are also alarmingly lazy.

More baseless fear-mongering from @Huggy Bear completely detached from reality.

Quote:This study finds that the passage of such laws is not related to the number or frequency of criminal incidents in these spaces. Additionally, the study finds that reports of privacy and safety violations in public restrooms, locker rooms, and changing rooms are exceedingly rare. This study provides evidence that fears of increased safety and privacy violations as a result of nondiscrimination laws are not empirically grounded.

Quote:Transgender and gender-nonbinary teens face greater risk of sexual assault in schools that prevent them from using bathrooms or locker rooms consistent with their gender identity, according to a recent study.

What kind of hatred and disgust motivates you, and people like you to call victimized groups the aggressors when it’s such a plain and obvious fact that they’re the ones being disproportionately harmed at every turn?

I’ve honestly never seen someone try so hard, and put so much work into not understanding a subject. Imagine where he’d be if he put that effort into actual learning. It’s sad, frankly.

Wrong is Huggy's default setting which is why needs to resort to blocking people.

1 and 3) In addition to the 95% audience rating, there's a 44% critic rating, which suggests that not everyone loves it.

2) One thing I should note: the genderfluid assaulter Huggy mentioned is the first case I found where the assailant didn't have a prior sex offense. It's almost like the problem, if there is one, is more in keeping an eye on convicted sex offenders than on denying trans folk a right to take a leak in a public restroom they feel comfortable in. Something I've heard of more times than I can count on one hand? Straight cis men just barging into women's restrooms without bothering to put in any effort into presenting as female and assaulting them.

4) And here's a meta-analysis that shows that trans folk actually have far less of a physical edge than one might expect:

Wow yet more stuff Huggy's wrong about  Dodgy

As for the ratings, Huggy does realize people artificially inflate ratings on controversial movies and TV shows.
