We took our Cavalier mix in just over a year ago for a tooth cleaning. Tranquilizer before we took her there, and she was still truly fearful. I can't imagine the trauma she's experienced. She hates and growls at anyone in scrubs. including people at the pet food store.

As a side note, is Karma truly a bitch?  Angel
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Technically yes, but she really only gets crabby when the boys simply push her too much...and it takes a lot to get her to that point.

We won't go without pet medical insurance ever again. Around $70/month/dog. Note that you need to get it when they are puppies, they don't cover PEC's.

Our coverage is thru Healthy Paws, best one that we found after research.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

That's what we use for our dog, Zoe. She needed surgery on both front legs for elbow dysplasia. The insurance paid quickly and happily. They even checked up on her after the surgery to make sure she was doing well. Well worth it!

Not my pet - but the big cat sanctuary just outside of town recently rescued this little cutie.  Her name is Minnie.

Doe ate my sunflower and roses, then dropped this by the brush pile.  I almost stepped on it yesterday morning.  

It's still on the property and will be a regular this summer.  I will continue to transplant hosta to the deer trail in hopes of having any roses at all.
