10 hours on the road, 75 south through the mountains at a dead stop for hours- then right into a thunderstorm.
Here’s Bane with Ronan, one of the big bros to our pups
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Lexy in her bone shirt protecting the op site. Better than the cone of shame.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Yeah that was the good part about traffic. I end up doing that stretch a dozen times a year- but I never get to look at it. Top of a mountain during a thunderstorm gets -close- to thunderstorm in deep water on the awe scale, for me….but right this minute….we’re measuring things of the awwwwwww scale. 30minutes out from the breeder.

Big bro has taught the pups two useful life hacks in the first 24 hours here. How to clear a five foot wire fence by going over it…or just flat through it. Looked like they were taking notes.

Not yet. It’s a raging argument between our human pups right now.
I’m tickled with how much these pups love ac. I figure I won’t have to teach them to come to me, I can just wave the front grill of a window unit. (weighed em all this am for dosage, every one over 30lbs at twelve weeks. One is just shy of 40…it’s amazing they feel like they’re made of lead when you pick them up, big bro almost put me through a window trying to get in to sniff their butts)

One's a touch over, but all of mine are on the large size for the breed. I do think Ziggy's family tree branched off a little bit and there's something in him besides Cavalier. I must say I was a bit miffed after a year of extra expense on weight control food that Zig managed to take off - 1 flippin' pound. They aren't show dogs so I am not too worried about the specs. |
