Catholicism is probably the worse religion ever if we consider how much damage it has caused through all the wars it organized, genocides, persecution of science, slavery, bigotry, hysteria, grabbing money, etc.

No wonder there were religions created just to protest Catholicism and give people some other alternatives.

As an atheist, my greatest, fondest hope is to live forever, in Heaven, in eternal, endless bliss. You see I'm the exact opposite, eternal life means eternal suffering, I don't believe in heaven or hell, though I do believe in a form of reincarnation if you can even call it that, whatever expression of the cosmos I am in the next life though, that's not going to be me, but the suffering will endure for eternity. If only we're so lucky to be in an eternal sleep.

Authari and Lek may not be even close to the most repulsive products christianity has ever made, they may not even be Christian’s in the views of some other self professed Christians, but they do offer a view, similar to the view offered by the diaries of those who supported a murderous regime but did not personally participate in the more heinous crimes, into why its influences gave Christianity such a strong claim to being amongst the worst religion in existence.

The first half of eternity was pretty dang restful.  At least, that was my experience.  If I have to suffer the fires of hell for getting hitched to a woman so be it, even though Moshe wrote fuck-all about that, but the keeper of the flame gets nothing but my eternal contempt.
