Impact on the election - a lot? Some? None at all? I expect it’ll move at least some of the undecided into Biden’s column.

It may.

However, there are the Republicans that are going to vote GOP regardless.  Trump could do just about anything...on camera...and it wouldn't matter.

Then there are the ones who won't admit they were maybe wrong...they have to hold their ground because they can't back pedal.

Yeah, clearly the Red Hat Brigade won’t abandon him. All he has to do is walk over and hug that flag, nothing else matters to them.

Personally, I think that some of the independents and moderate Republicans are really going to think twice about backing a convicted fraudster.

if they are still republican, they are either not moderates, or don’t know and don’t care why anyone would fuss about such things as how governments work, and vote based on only one thing.

My dipshit baby brother would vote for him regardless of laws broken and convicted of.  And he is a retired prison guard so you would think he might be a little anti-crime.

^^Because they think any sentence against him is just a corrupt government's retaliation against a great man.

To that point, this was not the only sign to state this I saw around here, in Burnet County, TX, a few years back:

There are definitely Republicans who detest Trump. The question is if they have the stones to pipe up. Not enough do, but I bet these adverse judgements will help them along.

I saw a recent poll which concluded that about 71% of republicans support Trump in spite of the indictments. That sounds high until you realize that it’s down from a high of 92%.

Anyroad, when all is done and dusted, it appears that almost 30% of self-identified Republicans don’t fit Anom’s description.
