The Presidential Debate of June 27th
#21
RE: The Presidential Debate of June 27th
Here are some of the lies Trump told in the debate.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

We can’t see anything.

If we are to trust Joe Biden’s ABC interview, Donald Trump has found a way to confuse the current president. It is frustrating to have to talk to a constantly lying man. You have to commit extra neural resources to try to understand “What they really mean”. The fact is: Narcissists do not really mean anything. They are (in their core) psychotic persons who are spending their lives trying to validate their own (unreal) inflated self.

So I say: So what?

It’s been a while since Mr. Trump is saying things that don’t deserve any answer anyway.

I’m currently watching the CNN Amanpour interview with Mrs. Marrine LePen. It’s the exact same thing we a female interviewee who is using a little bit more sophisticated language to promote all sorts of unproven claims that are at the core of the ideology of her political party.

Basically it’s the language of fear vs. the language of reason. Smile

Biden is past needing to appear merely competent. He has lost the narrative. He has failed to publicize his administration's achievements, deep moral compass, sense of duty and instead has only shown contrast in his outward appearance. Biden's policies fell victim to the his appearance as a husk of a human being, confused and disjointed. It may have been just a poor performance but he has dug himself a pit of despair.

He still passes the "he's not Trump" test, and maybe that is enough. But with a race decided by a few thousand votes in a handful of states he can't afford to lose anyone leaning his way. The disaffected need a reason not to throw their vote at a 3rd party as a protest. I'm not seeing that reason shining from the Biden camp.

He's got a war chest of around 100 million, saving it for the last three or four months before the election isn't the worst strategy. Everything blows over, Trump is the most blatant example of that rule, there's not much point in pushing your narrative so early that the public has forgotten about it on election day. And we can't discount a potential October Surprise from either side.

Speaking of October Surprises, am I being way too paranoid if I suspect Putin might withdraw from Ukraine and give Trump credit for persuading him to try to throw the presidential election to Trump? He can always go right back in after the election.

"Cannard — who’s worked as a neurologist for Walter Reed for more than a decade — has visited the White House multiple times, according to the visitor logs, which don’t detail the reasons for the visit, including whether Cannard was visiting in reference to Biden or another person who works at the White House."

There you go. It probably has to do with them signing a bill last week related to curing Parkinson’s.

Just like prior to overturning Chevron, the WH collaborated extensively with actual experts in the field when developing responses and legislation.

There was also an item in the annual physical report noting that he had been cleared of that potential diagnosis.

He wasn’t even in DC most of the time the specialist was there.

Meanwhile...

Trump accused of swindling millions from his fans for a bogus 'election defense fund'

The former president booked a quarter of a billion dollars after the 2020 election by telling people he was going to set up an official election defense fund. The money didn't go to that, but they pulled in hundreds of millions of dollars in two months after the election, and it was going — it ended up in a super PAC that he controls and that he can spend on anything, including, of course, his legal defense, not election defense, his legal defense, his personal legal defense.

Michael Moore said that this presidential campaign was a form of elderly abuse. I agree on him on that. And I think that all of this could be seen as a perfect opportunity to designate Kamala Harris as the new democratic candidate.

But I’m not a politician. It seems like Mr. Biden is the only one who can still rally behind him the right and left extremes of the Democratic Party.

And it seems like he has a lot of international support too. Many NATO leaders seem to believe that Joe Biden is absolutely fit for the job for another 4 years:

/ These visits by doctors are probably absolutely necessary and I think it would be a matter of weeks if not days for him to resign if he had any serious cognitive issues. (We all need to be sure he doesn’t accidentally hit red buttons after a tiring day or something right? Smile  )
