Is there a rule in America that you only can only have two terms as President (as I heard)?

That doesn't mean he will leave quietly.  We can only hope that four years will be too many Big Macs for him.

The guy is accountable to no one now and has unchecked power. The looting of the Republic will begin Jan. 20.

As long as he can't change the law that's the main thing, and from a Brit perspective it's a relief as well that if his best mate over here, Nigel Farage, gets in in the next election in four years, at least they won't be able to wreak any havoc together. The author of Brexit teaming up with Trump would have been a terrifying prospect.

I really wouldn't care how far the U.S. descends into dictatorship and oligarchy, except for the effect it will have on everyone.

Fuck you, christo-fascists and billionaires.

It appears that the presidency, The House, and The Senate are all GOP now.  We are well and truly fucked.

The only hope is that Biden throws as many roadblocks in the way as he can in the next couple months.

I'm so sorry Sad If it's any consolation, we're lumbered with a crappy government for the next four years... at least... as well Sad

This is a never ending story since the late 90’s. Many people are deeply frustrated with many aspects of globalization so they are taking revenge on the system by voting for populist parties. I cannot say anything negative against Republicans voters because many European voters are doing exactly the same thing at almost every election. One example is the UK simply leaving the European Union despite being one of the founder states of the EEC in 1957.

Still: I think I don’t like politics anymore. The more I learn about it the more frustrated I’m becoming. Sad

Biden has immunity. He can send a hit squad and then pardon them.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
