Also, if you call me "hunny", "honey", or anything else in that vein to try and somehow degrade my opinion, in you're mind, you'll regret it.

It's a Southern colloquialism, why do you need to play the victim complex while dogpiling? Pick a struggle.

So they are professionals who have dedicated their lives to their subject, they just don't agree with you so they are wrong. Brilliant.

I don't give a shit what you call it.

It's a weak attempt to demean someone because your arguments are weak, and it won't be tolerated.

Got it; so all the ad homs are how you people show appreciation to each other, that it? I know Yanks pride themselves on their assholery, so maybe I'm just ignorant to how deep that culture goes.

Should I talk to you as others talk to me? Gonna tolerate that? Or do the rules continue to only work one way?

Multiple people finding you abhorrent isn't dogpiling and not liking a colloquialism isn't having a victim complex

They are a partisan activist group with a clear agenda and bias it has nothing to do with disagreement

Golly jee, I sure got the nature of science wrong when I was young - no wonder my naive views of questioning and figuring things out for yourself got us in hot water.

Funny enough, the same people who blacklisted us now pat themselves on the back for having "discovered" 16,000 year old artifacts that "totally revolutionize the understanding of human settlement in the Americas!" that we told them about decades ago.

Academics are not scientists, sorry hunny.

No, they're a conservative group of medical professionals who cite their beliefs, not facts, to push their beliefs on others and use their professional titles to make them sound legitimate.

Yup they are a partisan activist group masquerading as a science group he tries to frame it as a question of "disagreement"

The Catholic display of corpses is creepy, but when it's a kid's body, it seems particularly morbid to bring schoolkids to see and pray to it.

Quote:[Image: download.jpg]

Pilgrims have been pouring into this medieval hilltop town to venerate not only two of the Catholic Church’s most celebrated saints, Francis and Clare, but its newest — Carlo Acutis, the first millennial saint, who will be canonized on April 27.

https://apnews.com/article/italy-saint-c...3733fd671d
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
