I think if you attach blind to any word it becomes a bad idea: Blind dinner, blind loyalty, blind date, etc.
So offer us some reason for your trust that a deity exists / is possible. Otherwise the inference is that your faith is, by your own admission, a bad idea.

You also appear to have the same valuation of faith, and this necessitates it's transformation into trust. If you had faith in christ that would be bad, so it cant be that™.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

That's not really an answer

It's not much of a question; the word blind is inherently bad here. You might as well ask me if I think cancer-causing trust is bad.

I don't think so, but I'm not entirely sure what spiritual conviction entails. If you parse it apart, I could probably give a better answer.

Good thing that wasn't what he asked then. If you don't have an answer that's fine, I know your ilk is very afraid of the term 'I don't know'.

Sure—I don't know if having blind trust is a bad idea. Better?

If you have no good reasons for that faith/trust, then blind seems a reasonable descriptor for it, and since you have refused to offer any, just saying.  Dead Horse

Actually, yes.

Feel free to apply this to other areas of your life. Thoughts and prayers.

Okay? As long as you're using faith to mean trust, I'm fine with your assertion.

No, that's not what I mean. But you knew that. Blind faith, faith without evidence, proof, justification or whatever has been present in Christianity from the beginning.
