More protests Against The Theocratic Regime in Iran
The first thing I want to say is that the minimum wage in Iran is 183 Dollars / Month. Many middle school kids in the West have more pocket money than that.

Then I want to share this image (go to 03:00). There has been protest suicides in Iran in recent years. With people killing themselves to show how done they are with the current regime:

Then there is my comments:

1) There are people living among us who simply don’t believe in governments that mainly work for the benefit of the entire population, who believe in “the rule of the strongest”. These are basically political narcissists who believe than everybody other than themselves is mainly there to serve them and must be subjugated and brought to a state of de-facto and internalized slavery or serfdom.

2) Even in the 20th century, there are people who do not understand the principle of separation of powers. The military, the judiciary and religious authority cannot be concentrated inside a single authority.

Second: This world is based on mathematical, and Newtonian and Quantic principles. So if you want the economy to work, you must act in a way that is based on these principles. God / Allah / Dios will not fix the economy for you if you don’t use your intelligence to fix it yourself. In fact, it is a widely spread belief that more issues are there so that you have the opportunity to solve whatever problem it is that you are facing.

More openly I can say that we have an amount of intelligence that is inherent to us. So if you let the ministry of finances with very smart and educated economists instead of people from the clergy, you should get a better economy (especially with all the oil revenues that Iran has).

Finally, I am not an anti-sanction person. We live in a civilized world. What happens in one country does affect other countries. So you cannot (for instance) execute 1500 innocent people every year and hope that the rest of the world will just keep buying your fossil fuel resources and keep investing in your economy. It doesn’t work that way.

So please, use your brain when dealing with spirituality. Spirituality is supposed to make you “better” if you know what I mean. The new testament says:
Matthew 7:15-23
“Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?”

And in Fatir 5 (in the Quran) it says:

“Do not let the deceiver deceive you with Allah / About Allah”

So the most important issue in this world is to maintain a critical mindset with everything and everyone.

There is no greater madness than the madness of “religiously inclined” people in this world. (83 Dolars / month. Are you kidding me?” Smile

You've got to realize that you're the deceiver that verse references Leo. That you're the false prophet in new magic book.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

This is an interesting issue.

It's true that "this world" operates on mathematical principles, of the kind studied by physics. But that's only true if we exclude people's behavior.

People don't operate according to the same type of regularities that physics does. People may be irrational, they may act against their own best interests, they may make choices influenced by fashion or ideology that (seen from an objective viewpoint) don't make sense.

So I don't think that economists can fix the economy thinking solely in terms of math and physics. Even if we do our best to include psychology and mass mania into our economic projections, people are apt to surprise us.

(This goes waaaaaay back... in Plato's dialogues you can see a tension between the study of the regularities of nature and the study of the behavior of people.)

I agree that God is not going to help us with our money issues.

Do you have any specific proposals for what should be done with the economy to improve things?

I'd like to take anything to do with health care out of the for-profit system, for example.

Actually, China still buys Iranian oil and just doesn't care how many people the Iranian regime kill for whatever reason. That's because they want oil and not rectitude.

The US still buys millions of dollars worth of uranium every year from Russia.

Indeed, we bought almost two whole days worth of the russian war bill between 2022 and 2024.

Ore, yes. Now if they had enriched it for us first, no. At this point, probably not enriched. The Belaquabot should provide us with all providers of uranium to the US, and the percentages thereof. C'mon, Belaquabot, bring it.

FWIW, if Oz has enough uranium in a form the US can use, I'd consider it better bought there. I'm sure that I'm ignorant enough, sitting here at my PC, that I don't know.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
