Cool Animals
The coconut crab (human for reference):

Adult size - length 16 inches, leg span 3 feet, weight 9 pounds. Largest living terrestrial arthropod, largest living terrestrial invertebrate. Climbs trees. Claws have a gripping strength equal to the force needed to lift a ten year old child. Preferred diet is fruit, but will eat anything, including carrion (rumoured but not verified to have fed on dead humans).

They’re considered a risky delicacy. If you eat a crab that’s been eating sea mangoes, you’ll become serious ill.

Indonesia and the South Pacific, but not a bad guess.

The kakapo.

The world’s largest, heaviest and only flightless parrot, weighing as much six pounds. Sadly, they may be gone soon - less than 350 remain.

Is that because she is strangling it?

More, if properly prepared.
