Alter2Ego, the evidence you have presented is not terribly substantial given the claims made about Jesus life and deeds written in the Gospels. If these events which are described in the gospels actually happened, I would have expected a lot more being written about them by contemporary writers (which a substantial enough amount of their works survive to our era). Also not to mention Christians would made the effort to preserve these works as well.
All we have in the first century or so after the supposed death of this guy, is a disputed authenticity from a near contemporary historian (Josephus). The quotes from the works of Pliny the Younger, Tacitus etc just relay what information they heard from the Christians themselves. We have no evidence which would confirm beyond the shadow of a doubt Jesus Christ *actually* existed, let alone confirm the historicity of events portrayed in the New Testament.

Wow - yet again I knew what tired old nags were going to be trotted out before I even clicked the thread. Maybe it's time I had a go on the Lottery: from prophet to profit. Also, did anyone else have that thing where the QI klaxon went off in their head with every single one of these canards? Don't say it was just me!
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

LOL...no but I have a really busy weekend coming up and this clown looks like a one-shit wonder, anyway. You know the type, they fall for every forgery that tells them their godboy was real!

GAIUS SUETONIUS TRANQUILLUS (69 - 130 A.D.)
Suetonius records the expulsion of the Christian Jews from Rome (mentioned in Acts 18:2) and confirms the Christian faith being founded by Christ.
THALLUS (~ 52 A.D.)
Thallus' explanation of the midday darkness which occurred during the Passover of Jesus' crucifixion. Thallus tries to dismiss the darkness as a natural occurrence (a solar eclipse) but Africanus argues (and any astronomer can confirm) a solar eclipse cannot physically occur during a full moon due to the alignment of the planets.
CELSUS (~ 178 A.D.)
He went to great lengths to disprove the divinity of Jesus yet never denied His actual existence.
Then we have the account of Jesus Christ in The Bible!
The Bible is a collection of 66 books (39 Old Testament, 27 New Testament) written over a period of 1500 years by approximately 40 different authors about creation, history, prophecy and Gods plan for all of creation.
This fact is a miracle ALL by itself!
How can 40 different authors over a period of 1500 years write a collection of work that doesn't contradict itself??

Ha. Your the one who said you would stop claiming the bible was infallible if you were shown one error. I showed you one error (let alone the tons of contradictions). Go shove your lying bible, self and god up your fucking ass.

It is impossible for anyone to honestly claim the bible has no contradictions if they have read past the first two chapters of Genesis. Lying for Christ is a different story and one that happens all too often.

My dear friend, why don't you, for once, ignore your own biased interpetations and see the Bible for what it was meant to be ... the word of God.
