Yet, Josephus, as a member of a priestly family should have been aware of all such prophecies, no? How come he fucked this one up? On the contrary, Josephus himself fulfilled it =)
“He descended into the cave. So, for two days he continued in hiding. On the third, his secret was revealed by a woman who had been with them. The death of J. was found to be a fiction, it became known that he was alive.”
This is a description of a resurrection after three days in a cave. No, J. is not Jesus, but Josephus. This is from the account of the fall of Jotapata where Josephus hides in a cave for three days before he was found out by a captured woman who knew of their hiding place. He arose from the cave. After a short time he ascended to the right hand of the Father, Vespasian, the Emperor. Josephus went on to live in the mansion of his Lord.

Titus Flavius Josephus, also called Joseph ben Matityahu in Hebrew, is the author of Matityahu i.e. Matthew. Josephus along with Plutarch are the original Orthodox Christians.
This changes everything.

You guys shouldn't hate on Jesus. Whether you think he was the son of God or just a man, he was actually quite a good guy. I would argue he was the biggest rebel of all time. He said F you to the Pharisees, and sent a wave of Christianity following. Though I must point out, far different than the tolerance and acceptance Jesus preached. Basically everyone before Jesus and then after him ruined religion with dogma. Oh, and Jesus also smoked a pipe, using it as a spiritual tool. Pretty Bad Ass if you ask me.”

Jesus was a good guy?
So all the OT wrath God crushed the opposition who didn't kiss his ass was merely a prop for Jesus/himself? And what happens to the non believers in the end, even if they are nice? Do they get past the velvet ropes and get to kiss Gods ass like the people who did believe while alive?
It is a common motif that Christians use that the revenge god of the OT is not the peaceful god of the NT, But when you skip to the end everyone who reject Jesus gets burned forever.
The god character is a spousal abuser. "Jesus" in the middle part of the bible is merely the asshole who beats their spouse who says " I wont do it again as long as you do what I say and follow me"
"I am sorry I hit you" is not an excuse. Someone not following you or wanting to part company with you is not a crime.
The end plot of the bible no matter how you slice it up is the same "I am in charge, I own you, and if you don't do what I say I will hurt you"

One of the major arguments atheists have about the bible is that all these stories were written on so many different scrolls by so many different authors. This is true and why theists should not take the entire bible and say their faith is based of of the whole book.
Jesus preached that you could have a relationship with God without following the ways of the OT. Whether you agree with it or not, Jesus preached mercy, not a eye for an eye. Christianity is not the same as what Jesus preached.

It is not apparent that there was any such "guy." Just an invented myth.

Could you please share with me a day's worth of experience that happened to you 6 months ago? Name people, places and quote what everyone said. It would be fairly tough I would think right? Well, 6 months is only an eightieth of 40 years; the time that elapsed between the events and the Gospels being written.
I highly doubt they were all capable of remembering all that information so vivdly for 80 times longer than your experience 6 months ago.
They weren't trying to record history, but something so much deeper than that.

Well, if my research has really led me to the true authors of the Gospels, then that means Christianity as a whole is an allegorical understanding of nature and the 'soul'. To ask 'what is really history' is a misunderstanding of what they wanted to convey.
