You can't make that decision for a man. Let him grow and decide for himself if he wants to experience decreased sensitivity, infection (after the procedure, infection is a big worry), less ease of masturbation, a painful surgery and mutilation for cosmetic reasons.

My wife wouldn't care because she has no interest in it unless it's saluting her, at which point they all look alike .. well, sort of. When I was in my twenties I had to do some pretty serious mental distraction to prevent every sexual encounter from becoming a quickie, and I'm circumcised. That being said, it's cosmetic surgery. A: I don't give a shit if females like the cut look. B: My penis doesn't give a shit if females like the cut look. So, for me, the question is settled. I wouldn't get a nose job, tummy tuck, or face lift, and likewise you wont see me slicing and dicing at the ole meat sweater. (also, my dick has an even lower opinion of gods and their requirements than I do, so it's settled from that angle as well)

Circumcision is very common in the United States, so I see more cut penises than uncut ones. I'm pretty sure that most of the kids in my family have been cut. I've never heard anyone complain about it. I guess I don't really have much of an opinion on this one. I don't have a penis, either, so . . .
One woman I was with was a little nonplussed by it, but several ended up liking it a great deal.

Oh, I have no preference. I just think most women aren't exposed to uncut penises in the United States.

I'd like to know just how much influence religion had in inserting "routine" circumcision into American medical practice, and how much the so called medical justification was concocted specifically to protect religious justification.

As the article notes, children of immigrants (as I am) tended more often to be uncircumcised in comparison to the progeny of American-born parents.
