What you said, Drippy, was "I have never denied the reality of Hell. Matter of fact I even posted of my experience there."
Now, I choose to interpret this to say that you are crazier than a shithouse rat.

No, I don't believe that hell exists, or that these passages are telling the truth. But, one cannot deny hell and believe at the same time. Hell is there (for believers). So, they either have to admit that hell is in the bible, or that the bible is flawed. Why would a loving god send someone to hell for a finite crime?
I have no problem admitting that the Bible is flawed. And "hell" is NOT in the Bible, sheole, Gehenna, Hades and Tartaroos are. I sure as Hades don't believe that a Greek myth represents reality.
As to your question? Exactly...

It seems like 'Gehenna' is interchangable with hell. As for hades, I guess they just ignore it. Gehenna and hades in the bible
Wikipedia Wrote:The King James Version is the only English translation in modern use to translate Sheol, Hades, and Gehenna as Hell. The New International Version, New Living Translation, New American Standard Bible (among others) all reserve the term hell only for when Gehenna is used.

So you think a burning garbage dump represents "hell"?
Why would a logical person think that God would punish the "wicked" for eternity? Why would a logical person think that God wrote a book that was obviously written by men?
What are you arguing aginst here? God or the authors of the pages of the bible?

Neither, I don't think god wrote the book, nor were the authors divinely inspired, or whatnot. My argument has never had anything to do with either of these things. I am trying to say that, in the bible, there is a place that is mentioned multiple times as a 'fiery furnace' or 'lake of fire' where sinners are sent, and that fits in as hell. I am saying this in response to theists (or anyone, really) who says that hell is not in the bible. It was not originally named hell, but it was the same thing. And no, I don't know why god would have created hell, but that was never supposed to be part of my argument either.

Why would a "logical" person believe.....in a god? Let alone what god does with it's human refuse? We're clearly operating under different definitions for the word.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Why would a logical person believe in a magical gravity field?

Mostly because there's no magic involved and it's a quantifiable effect...mostly. That was idiotic....

If mass is a property of matter and there was no matter at one point, what caused the magical gravity field that supposedly was all that was needed to create the BB?
