LOL, it is funny how we sarcastically want doomsday too, but for the right reasons, not superstitious ones. We are a fucking dumb species for the most part. We do not deserve this planet and it would be better off without us. Not because we don't want to survive, but we suck for the most part, at pulling our collective heads out of our asses.

Mentally most of our species is still stuck in infantile tribal delusions distracting us from pollution and famine and meteor issues that can and will affect us, but we are too fucking concerned with our religious and political tribal bullshit to actually step up and problem solve.

The double edge sword of evolution is that narcissism does produce the strive to survive. If we did not have a feeling of self worth, we wouldn't look both ways before crossing the street. But far too often in our evolution we set up political and religious utopias that create as much tribalism as it does create safety in numbers.

You should care because this type of mind rot distracts people away from actually getting an education.

I doubt she knows how to spell "science" let alone what it is. This picture is from a commercial for the state of California, and I'm guessing the director had to tell her how to hold the book upright.
