Since virtually every falsifiable proposition in the book has been falsified, there's no reason to imagine that the rest of it has any basis in reality.

The most important reason anyone is an atheist
|
You said we don't rise during the resurrection in our old bodies? Then why the does your NT go to lengths to show that Jesus did exactly that? His body was missing from the tomb, and his disciples felt the prints of his hands and feet and side where he was pierced. Not only that, but the dead rose from their graves and did the Michael Jackson Thriller dance in Jerusalem. If you don't believe any of that happened (and I'm damn glad if that's the case), then why believe in the Resurrection at all?

If one wants true intellectual consistency, one needs to look no further than the one question that will answer the existence of a deity. Do you have any proof beyond a personal I just feel that god exists?

Most likely, you were having troubles in your life at the time, and false biblical words persuaded you in your time of weakness.

The fact is that since the very beginning people have considered the text from multiple perspectives. |
