We're seeing it with presuppositional apologetics, that desperate last attempt at silencing opposition instead of proving the point.
In the end, the death of christianity won't come through science, but through the christian response to science. The weight of evidence will keep piling up, until those that deny it will become like the flat earthers or believers in a geocentric universe. Christianity will literally embarrass itself to death.
