Oh, hello. Guess I'm just too smart for my own britches, hey?

But I don't hate the church. Hell I photographed quite a few in England and Europe. Very picturesque. The music can be nice. People seem to enjoy the comradery and some do a lot of good through charity. Nothing to hate there.

It is when the religious seek to enforce their moral choices on the general public through secular law that I chafe. If they think their religion gives them inspiration for a legislative improvement I would simply ask that they argue for it on secular grounds.

I certainly don't hate 'god' - whatever that may be. Far from it. When I was a believer I thought he was the greatest. Now - and this may be where my prideful intellect gets in my way - I don't even know what people mean by 'god' anymore. Really. It means lots of different things to lots of different people, but it is an empty signifier to me.

Believe what you will, we all do.

It depends if you mean regular atheists, the lost sheep from the flock or the New Atheists/anti-theists the wolves that go after the sheep to bring them out of their world of superstition and delusion to face the true pure reality of the Godless universe. It depends on your level hardcore dedication to your materiality. Most atheists are just the former type or agnostics and that kind of thing. Most outspoken or Internet atheists on forums are the latter type.

Nonsense, as always.

Condemnation is for the unrepentant, the sinners who reject Christ, folks who spend their lives selfishly for their own lusts, greed, pleasure. Truth be told we don't know the true extent of gods mercy. You atheitards don't hate the church , just your own ugly false caricature of it. These posts truly prove that point. In fact if I were to ask you 10 things you disagree wit h the church on I bet 5 or more would be false accusations! Idiocy. Stay lazy. Read your Hitchens. Good luck.

Buddy, not that I care, but if you don't calm it the fuck down and attempt to participate in civil discourse, you're probably gonna find yourself locked out of here inside of a week.

Just a word to the wise. Well, to you, anyway.

Okay but it's okay to call Christians on this forum creatards and dumb f$&(s? Nice double standard. There is such an impolite name calling and talking down to of Christians on this forum! At least I'm one of the few to put together concise arguments. Often followed simply by "F your stupid beliefs creatard!". I'm one of the few not to use profanity! Unlike you.

Au contraries. It's the Christians who are tired of the liberal religion of secularism leveraging their way on legislation that has us so frustrated and peeling away all ur freedoms.

Some hate god. So they say they don't believe in a god that would allow some tragedy or evil to befall them earlier in life. Why didn't god protect me from that? Howcould a good god allow that to happen to us?
Some get so caught up in their own selves, that they look for reasons to deny a god that asks us to think of others first. I want to buy that yacht and have sex with as many as I can at a time, and never have to go to church... So out of necessity they have to deny god to clear their conscience.
Others are intellectual, and too smart for their own good. They think if they can't measure itor sense it or decide it it's not there. So they deny god on an intellectual basis. You know for someone snidely mocking atheists for acting intellectually superior to Christians...

...You're doing a very good job of supporting the notion that it's not an act.

Now, I too wish I could have engaged in debate with any of those "intellectually superior" individuals, just so I could show what a sham they are. As long as they had to adhere to one of the most important stipulations of debate [no fallacious arguments allowed], I would happily debate them. The problem is, debating with someone who is so self-convinced of something without the ability to even question the possibility that they could be wrong is an exercise in maddening frustration and sheer pointlessness.

So far, you've done nothing but ad hom and strawman.

Do you have anything of any intellectual merit to add to the discourse? Or do you just have the usual brainless, vacant-eyed, slack-jawed mouth-breathing neaderthal cultist delusional state of mind like so many other bible-humpers? So far, I think it's the latter.

What concise arguments are you talking about? Are you talking about the ones laden with ad-homs and strawmen? That's not concise, you idiot, that's fallacious; fallacious arguments are not concise, they are dismissable and erroneous. We have some Christians who come here whom we do not called creatards and dumb fucks. Discussions with them get heated, but it's out of frustration; you can only show someone so much evidence of how and why they're wrong, and being ignored each time you do so, before you start to lose your patience with them. Then, there's morons like you who just burble whatever spoonfed bullshit they've been indoctrinated with; people who from the very get-go give us no reason to do anything BUT call you a creatard and/or dumb fuck.

See, what Esquilax is trying to tell you is that if you aren't going to participate in an actual discussion and all you are going to do is come in swinging with insults, it's considered flaming and/or trolling. There are many atheists who have been banned from this forum for exactly that. So shut up with your usual Christian-persecution whinefest, thicken your skin at least to the point the dull side of a butter knife doesn't cause you die of exsanguination, and engage in discourse, or get banned. I imagine the concept of taking full responsibility for your actions towards others in a setting where you can't just beg forgiveness from god and get a free pass to being excused is a foreign concept to you but you're just gonna have to deal with it. After all, you came to a forum of atheists, we didn't go dragging you here kicking and screaming.

As for profanity, why do you really give a fuck? You're on the internet, dude. Nobody gives a rat's ass if you swear or not. We don't care about profanity because we find it to be laughable that offense can be taken by a non-slur that others view as profanity.

Ohh here we go, the liberal secularist agenda persecuting the poor, poor Christians, never-mind that they have an overwhelming political, populace, and social majority virtually across the US. What freedoms of yours are being peeled away, huh? What constitutional rights and liberties are you having so cruelly and unjustly torn from your grasp?

By the way it's au contraire, you friggin' philistine.

If it is, it's a pretty over-used and mind-numbingly repetitive one.
