(November 22, 2013 at 6:43 pm)I and I Wrote: Was oswald an anti-communist or a communist? He hung out with other intelligence operatives in Louisiana that were anti-communist radicals. Yet his front organization (pro-Castro) organization had no members and he never was known or seen hanging out with pro-communists.
Just curious as to what his political beliefs were.
Oh and, is it difficult to learn Russian as a second language? Where did he learn to speak fluent Russian?
When he was stationed in japan what was his occupation there? Reading U2 spy plane reconnaissance data?
Why was this supposed "loser loner" given special security clearance?
Neither, he was a loner who wanted to make a name for himself anyway he could. He blamed others for his own failures in his own life. Same crap Mansion did. Mansion got rejected by a record label. One of the houses was the former address of the exec who turned him down.
What conspiracy rag are you reading? The guy who did the DC shooting earlier this year had security clearance too.

1. He had an abusive mother.
2. He had several court martialed, one for discharge for unathorized weapon, one for fighting the Sergent who blamed him, and was demoted. They still overlooked his problems because he had skills. Kinda like when the Catholic church moves accused molesters.
3. He was teased by other military and blamed a Sergent for his punishments.Just like when bullied kids come back to a school and shoot other kids. Sometimes people chalk the person's odd behavior as mere stress. Some hide their anger so well no one notices until it is too late.
4. He was denied Soviet citizenship.
5. When he went back to Dallas he lost several jobs, one for fighting.
6. Made an attempt on his real target a General, but failed.
7. Wrote bomb threats to the FBI for what he said was "harassing his wife".
The standards of mental evaluations were not as good as they could have been back then.
People fall through the cracks all the time. When he served he had no secret service clearance, he served far away from the white house and had no connection to it during his service. He did not get a section 8 or dishonorable discharge. So any background check for that event would have cleared him to be in that book depository.
And getting the job at the book depository would have been easy for anyone. The security standards were the reason it happened and JFKs insistence on the open car.
His political views were not the real reason he did what he did. He wanted to make a name for himself.
You combine his lifetime delusion that he would "do something important", then fail time after time and suffer rejection, some people snap, he snapped.
This was simply a security failure and lack of mental evaluation. Just like when Hinkley got close enough to shoot Regan.
