It's worth it because then I can see whether the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland is the one true god. RE: Unfortunately the atheists will have to kill themselves to prove the point

For a contrary opinion to the OP, I suggest Camus's "The Myth of Sysiphis" (sp)

I think the person making the positive claim is the one who should prove it. By killing himself.

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

And what point would atheist suicide prove?
I think about suicide all the time but it's not to prove some sort of point lol. RE: Unfortunately the atheists will have to kill themselves to prove the point

Dostoyevsky is one of my favorite authors...partially for his characters. You know, fictional people.
Don't let this post deter you from reading his works. Great author. Lots of well developed (sometimes too much so) characters that can be hard to keep track of with their Russian names but otherwise, fabulous books. |
