God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

It is anything but "put aside", and it is not "for the good of all" (which is actually a phrase that proves you have a serious air of self-importance). Me interpreting what you think based on what you write is only evidence of me interpreting what you think based on what you write. How does that play into my own sense of self-importance? Simply asserting that you are "right", GC, is extreme arrogance and a baseless assertion. You want to back up your claim with some evidence?

Misfortune that's all a part of "God's plan"? Also, I feel myself to be a very fortunate individual, but I don't pray to any god to thank for such fortune while he presumably allows millions others to suffer in the extreme.
"Try and keep up"? Hehe, now you're projecting. You're quite the class act, GC. (May 8, 2014 at 9:16 pm)ChadWooters Wrote: Do you truly believe you live your live according to that philosophy? So we do not need to try and put up a false front for God, it would do no good. No, this is where you fail to know and understand science(and the point I was making). Every time you get the warm fuzzies from doing what you think Jesus wants for you, your brain is getting "high" on neurotransmitters. The pleasure you get from being a good little sheep is a neuro-chemical reward, and without it, pleasing Jesus would mean nothing to you. Your pious charade is nothing more than a self-serving attempt to stimulate the pleasure centers of your brain.
