Tell me what Satan did that makes him a good guy.
According to myth, he stood up to an evil, manipulative, dictator that hates women but loves genocide and slavery, and punishes people for thought crimes. A dictator who supposedly knows everything but is constantly in need to test his followers by making them suffer in some truly horrendous ways.

We can read about all the horrible things that Yahweh did, and make our own decisions about how "evil" Satan his for committing the horrible crime of not wanting to worship the kind of person that the old testament shows Yahweh to be. It makes him a brave martyr for justice in the eyes of people who are horrified by what Yahweh does.
How much better is he? I'm not sure. supposedly he gave us knowledge of good and evil, to make our own decisions, and tempts us to do the things that come natural to us, regardless of what the big guy upstairs wants. The jealous, vidictive individual who thinks people who have done nothing more than not worshiping him enough are deserving of death, set an impossibly high standard on humans, and created a pit of fire for those who don't beg him to spare them of it.
Honestly I can't think of anyone doing much worse to their own creation than Yahweh, even if satan isn't that spectacular a guy himself.

Well, he didn't murder the entire world.
There's that at least

Such a cute little guy cannot be evil.

At the very worst, he's the lesser of the two evils.

If Adam and Eve hadn't listened to Satan, all those terrible things you mentioned wouldn't have happened. He wanted them to happen. (I know. We and the devil are all real wonderful and nice and wouldn't hurt a flea. It's all God's fault. Blah, blah, blah.......).

If we hadn't upset Yahweh, Yahweh wouldn't have had to kill everyone. abusive parent blames children for making him abuse them. Without the knowledge of good and evil, Adam and Eve had no concept of right and wrong. It's like my 1-2 year old neice knowing what yes and no means, but doing something she's been told not to anyway, and my sister throwing her out of the house and not letting her back in. Parent of the year award!

That will not exactly work unless he first removes the rose colored glasses.
