It was a total miracle that God caused/didn't stop that wild fire and made/let it destroy all those houses!
His will be done, I supposed. If God's will is good, and whatever happens is truly good, right, and holy, why don't Christians thank God for every outcome that happens ever? Why only thank him for the things that look good? It seems selfish.

How pathetic it is for the believer to need to grasp at such flimsy examples of the "power" of their imaginary friend...
Like Baal and all the others before him, poor ol' Dad/Ghost/Jeez can't do shit.

If you could see from the real perspective you would see the foolishness of what you said. You perceive arrogance, I see blessings and morality. How grateful do you suppose those who's homes were spared are?

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

As arrogant as the guy presupposing everyone is thanking the same God he is for death and destruction?

That's why it's silly for a believer to pray.

Yeah. I live here. People are much more grateful to the skilled firefighters who saved their homes. Because, you know, they're the ones who actually did something about it. Whereas, if a god exists, (s)he, at the very least, knew it was going to happen and didn't stop it.
