I bet you don't know this one

RE: I bet you don't know this one
Maybe you can share some of your knowledge to lessen my ignorance.

If the speed of light is fixed and the age of the Universe is 13.8 billion years old will you please explain how all of those galaxies are beyond the radius of 13.8 billion light years. If entire galaxies can exceed the speed of light then we can build faster than light space ships and explore the universe.

BTW, since we are also in space can you explain why it appears that all of the trillions of objects within our field of view do not seem to be traveling at the speed of light? If none of the object in view are traveling faster than the speed of light it might mean that we will have to travel at least 13.8 billion light years distance to reach the area where faster than light travel is possible.

It's said that two objects can't occupy the same space at the same time. So if all of the objects in space were collected in a clump like grains of rice in a sack how much space do you think all of that material would take up in light year equivalents? For example, could you clump up all of the objects in space into a sphere with a diameter of say, 5 million light years or would be sphere be much larger or much smaller?

Given the success of others in penetrating your stubborn ignorance, it's probably a complete waste of time.

No. Wrong. You're confusing movement *through* space and expansion *of* space. As far as we know, nothing constrains the speed of the latter.

The remainder of your post is based on this gross misconception.

Ding ding ding ding ding. I bet this happened on accident, but you just accurately described the portion of the theory you've been choking on

-Some objects do "travel" faster than the speed of light. Congratulations, you're arguing the point for me.

Relative to us, yes. To them, we are.

You guys are hilarious. You have to make up more fanciful stuff to support the Big Bang than theists have to make up to support their favorite gods.

Which came first, black holes that anchor the stars in a galaxy or the hydrogen which makes up the stars?

Well clearly you'd need the elements for stars, if you want black holes anchoring them.

What part of this question is supposed to be the gotcha?

OK, Einstein. See why it's a waste of time to try to explain anything to you?

Go fuck yourself.

ROFLOL

Wyrd of Gawd knows better than the world-leading scientists (I mean, they are after all one step away from believing in angels and demons).

LMAO. Too funny.

So hydrogen came first, created the stars, something happened to caused the stars to form black holes, and the black holes assembled the random stars into galaxies. And all of that happened in less than a minute after the Big Bang? And then the galaxies zoomed across the void at over three times the speed of light but the ones in our area can't go that fast because their strong gravities attract them to each other.

I'm learning so much from this discussion. Thanks to everyone who has shared his Big Bang knowledge with me.

Wrong again, Einstein

You're worse than a goddamned young earth creationist.
