Keep your faith but improve your theology. You don't have to remain in the bronze age. Look at your bible with a critical eye, bring your intelligence to bear in understanding what it says. There are more uses for text than literalism. Perhaps there are wisdom stories contained in the bible which will forever elude you if you go on insisting Jonah and Noah are historical persons who did precisely what the bible says.
