Friday is going to be so freaking awesome!
Making the trek to RMNP for a "little" hiking... 10.5 mile loop (with spurs) starting and ending at Bear Lake. Taking the camera and lots of water. Here's the route: Friday's gonna be a very good day! Google maps says 3:47. Will probably take more like 6 hours with stops for water, food, pics, scenery enjoyment, etc... Aug. 22nd is gonna be an even better day... Back to RMNP for an 18 miler. This time with a "friend from work" instead of my daughter. Hopefully I'll be getting some good pics that day too. If we get "lost in the woods" and can't finish the hike... Well, there's always next time. Google maps claims six and a half hours for this hike. I'm hoping for 10 plus.
