Unfortunately you don't see that your claims are laughable. Unfortunately far too many humans buy invisible sky hero claims. Muslims claim the Koran proves that Allah picks the sex of the baby. Muslims claim that "red sky" proves they knew about space and nebulas.
Your comic book talks of a 6 day made earth, talking snakes, talking donkeys, men magically popping out of dirt, women magically popping out of ribs, babies being born without a second set of DNA, human flesh magically surviving rigor mortis, and you think I am funny for rejecting what is clearly bullshit?
I am not the one with an invisible friend.

Took a look at that book. Empty nonsense. A whole book wasted on what can't be known, "the illogical pursuit of evidence for the non physical" would be a better title. OK if you want to confirm your bias. But critical thinkers avoid.
Now how about you check out a recommendation from me? Open your mind to a view that differs from your own.

Intelligent Design controversy? I laugh at you.
You clearly don't have a grasp of what evidence means.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

Brian, how do you know that my claims are laughable? You haven't tried to even start to understand them. I'm a sceptic. I hate closed minded people like you.

And wtf are you on?
I've read and discussed the ideas in the books linked to me. I continue to discuss them. You badly interpret a summation and further entrench your opinion. That book is probably more anti ID than you are. But by all means carry on in your ignorance. Sheeshk.

Of course we are anti ID, just like it makes no sense to claim the tooth fairy is your dentist.
You already reject rightfully an ocean god named Poseidon as a cause for hurricanes. You also rightfully reject Thor being the cause for lightening.
Instead of projecting human qualities on the universe, why don't you consider that we are merely an outcome of natural processes instead of the product of a super hero?

You believe in a God. No way around it. Now you have to back off the bible and avoid that, but you still have your own "God did it" cause. That is ID.
Typical, when you cant use the bible you water it down to some other woo version but it still amounts to "God did it".

Read the book Brian. It explains it all. No watering down. No departure from full commitment.
Here's some info for you: the bible makes no claims about origins. Like you, and without compromising my faith even the smallest amount: I don't know.

Read what book? The bible is not a science text book, it is a comic book. The fact that you get your morality out of it is your baggage not mine. I can find moral motifs in Harry Potter and Star Wars without turning those works of fiction into religions and falsely believing they are written by men with tin foil hats talking to a cosmic super man.
Use the farce Froodo. The farce will be with you, and also with you. Let us offer each other the sine of the farce.
