Then please illuminate me.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Its not that a puddle of water fits the hole perfectly....as you know any shaped hole will support a puddle of water given our physics. Its that if the physics were just a tiny bit different, say there was no gravity , there could be no puddle of water despite the existence of a hole.
You want to examine the relationship between water and holes given physics as they are. The fine tuning we are referring to concerns the physics that allows water and holes to exist in the first place.
We are talking about the entire universe as whole, where as you are talking about something that exists in it.
Life is fine tuned to exist in this universe.
The universe is fined tuned to produce life.
The above two statements are not the same as you would want us to believe with your water/hole analogy.

Then basically, if things were different then things would be different? You're still looking at the hole and marvelling at how precisely it fits you. And if you can't follow the analogy, I suggest you look up its original use and context.

I've read Douglas Adams and his analogy is flawed. He should have directed his analogy at the physics and not the products of the physics.

In what way?
Basically what I'm asking you to do is show your work; don't just snipe and assume victory.

Flat, infinite, with (potentially) infinite resources and without many of the dangers and complexities of the real world? Especially considering that the creator God is proposed (at least by the major monotheistic religions) as an omnipotent being, why would he create a universe where most of the space is empty and/or unsuitable for human life?
If he wanted a huge sandbox to make us humans live and to test us, why not make the whole of the universe like that? After all, he can pop things into existence, pretty much like a computer does when it generates a Minecraft world.
So, the question is: is Notch more intelligent a designer than Yahweh/Allah/Jehovah?
Maybe its because he felt like it
Does the clay say to that Potter, why have you created me this way.
The most intelligent of men has the smarts of a grain of sand in comparison to Gods wisdom and knowledge which might be equivalent of an infinite desert of sand.
Can Notch create physical universe? One that is not confined to "ones and zeros"

Reality check:
We are all sinners and fall short of the bar God has set for us (ten commandments).
Those sins are washed away by Jesus' blood because he, the only one ever to make it all the way through life without sin took our sin to the cross for us out of love.

So no, Jesus did not die for nothing, He died for us

What on earth makes you say that?
I think what comet means is that we live on this planet in an ecological nitch not found anywhere else in the universe, ergo tuned for life as we know it
