God doesn't need any preexisting materials to create but can create out of nothing.
His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

I'm guessing no.
Just another baseless assertion.[Image: goodmorning.gif]
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

Theophilus -

I agree that god "creates" out of "nothing", in the sense that it manifests itself out of potential (itself). Would you go with that or do you believe that god literally creates out of nothing?

Would you also agree with me that you have no evidence?

Thanks Watson that was a good explanation, even though Shell B did not understand what you were saying it made perfect sense.

Godhead I again agree with Theophilus God created all out of nothing. Read the first chapter of Genesis I think you might be surprised at the number of times God did create, count them the answer is in the first chapter.

EvF what kind of evidence are you asking for, just look all around you, where do you think all that matter came from. Do you believe that it just manifested itself, now that would be a hard one to swallow.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Oh, and I suppose a magical person who exists outside of time and space who has no beginning or end just thought one day, "You know, this dimensionless, timeless infinite void needs livening up a bit, think I'll create a universe!" makes far more sense Dodgy
