A site such as that could never be objective in its reasoning. They have a clear motive and it is to cast as favorable a light on Christianity as possible. Yes. And whose fault might it be that on the watch of a god who knows all and can do all, "institution of slavery" became "so deeply rooted in ancient culture that it could not be dismantled overnight"? Should I only seek out non-christians for opinions about the bible and slavery? Yes... ^ more detailed information Post slavery era - Enough said. Not to piss on some what open wounds because there is still animosity. Its just that do not act like Christianity is all good because its just not because well there is still some what slavery of different kinds.. hell i can pull one up. If most blacks knew why they were christian or why they are praising a god that let their ancestors be slaves. High chances are they would hate god for fact and verbatim. I know black atheists they agree with me on this and they tried talking to their family but just like every other thing they just like god loves us though and won't hear it.

And took loyalty oaths to Mexico and agreed to become catholic when they got there.
They may have been full of shit but when they rebelled they WERE Mexicans. |
