The river is okay. It's the shithole it flows through that is the problem.

Well, you shouldn't have been that greedy then to claim everything for the Union. Texas was a rather late addition too.

Coincidentally, those same kinds of baseless accusations you spoke of are exactly why I want to move away from Mississippi. I hate this place.

Mississippi is worse than Tennessee...by a little.

That means that if a person is a christian he is unqualified to write on the subject? Should I only seek out non-christians for opinions about the bible and slavery?

Yes.

Illiterates from Indiana with no superpowers whatsoever did a better job in a few years with their own blood than your god could manage with all his power and all his followers and all of their religious beliefs in the previous thousands of years.

And whose fault might it be that on the watch of a god who knows all and can do all, "institution of slavery" became "so deeply rooted in ancient culture that it could not be dismantled overnight"?

Post slavery era - Enough said.
Not to piss on some what open wounds because there is still animosity.
Its just that do not act like Christianity is all good because its just not because well there is still some what slavery of different kinds.. hell i can pull one up. If most blacks knew why they were christian or why they are praising a god that let their ancestors be slaves. High chances are they would hate god for fact and verbatim. I know black atheists they agree with me on this and they tried talking to their family but just like every other thing they just like god loves us though and won't hear it.

And took loyalty oaths to Mexico and agreed to become catholic when they got there.

They may have been full of shit but when they rebelled they WERE Mexicans.
