I was raised a Christian. I've struggled with issues of faith on and off over the years. It's always interesting to hear peoples view as to why they believe or don't believe in God.
I'm married with 2 boys that keep me pretty busy, and I live in Victoria Australia. 2014 was the hottest year on record (again) for Australia for three years running, yet it's the middle of Summer, and we've got the heater on because it's currently 9 degrees! (Celsius).
I admit using the word "challenge" was pretty arrogant. I should have used the word question. I'm just wondering how people can believe it possible that "something" came from "nothing" or "was always just there".
Thanks for the intro, but see, here's the thing: in our Intro forum, we have rules against bad language and flaming. You're completely vulnerable here. Just FYI.
As far as something from nothing goes, atheism is a lack of belief in deities. That's it.

How did it come into being? Just for starters, you cannot take away the dark matter or you will have no hydrogen atom. It is not "simple" and cannot be broken down to "simplicity", because it is not "simple".

How should I or anyone know where stuff comes from in your fantasy alternate universe which you just made up??? That's a nonsensical question. Can you try to reword it or emprecision it a bit to make it answerable?

BION, but I've had a discussion on another board on a hypothetical universe with less mass, and 2 more particles.
There is/was nothing about that universe any more or less knowable or impossible than ours, except maybe for an unresolved issue about erasing information over an EXTREMELY* long period of time.
*not infinite, but close

It was actually pretty hard to pick just one from the ocean of pictures you get in a google search.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
