Where do I skip the OT? Do you mean where the NT seperates OT Judaism and NT Christianity? Why is it so hard to understand the bible represents two different religions? One of which is all but dead, and not even practiced by contemporary jews.

Drich, I realize that some Mormon beliefs are strange but they believe Jesus is the son of god. I could understand your point if they believed Jesus was just another guy but they believe he was divine also.
Why don't you explain to us what you consider the most essential beliefs someone must hold to be Christian?

Really now? I wasn't aware that (1) an old religion was giving prophecies for a completely different and newer religion, and that (2) the genealogy (which is a shameful mess) would be connecting two masses of people with completely different takes of God, since they're from two different religions.
Conceding that the Bible contains two religions has got to be your worst confession to date.

Well, maybe it's all the bits where Jesus said he came not to replace the law, but to fulfill it, and that not a bit of it would change until all had come to pass? You know, the stuff you just interpret to mean the opposite of what it means, and justify that interpretation with nothing? Maybe that's why it's so hard to understand, because it appears as though you'd just invented the idea out of whole cloth to spare yourself the embarrassment of having to follow old testament law? Well, I say invent, but what I really mean is "regurgitate," because the idea of you coming up with some new idea, instead of just rehashing the warmed over remnants of apologetics past is simply laughable.
If you're going to continue with this unjustified charade, would you at least be consistent about it? Like, not just cherry pick the parts of the old testament you like, like the ten commandments, while hucking the rest?

THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THEY BELEIEVE!! Jesus and God at one time we're just regular guys! That they were honorable/righteous before their own God 'in the time before' and they were awarded earth to be God over themselves!
In fact we all are literal children of God and his muslim like haram of women and concubines just like Jesus is. And if we are good Mormons we too will get our own haram and our own planet to rule over and populate!
(Unless your a woman that is, in Joseph Smith's orginal version)
So tell me again how that is Christianity.
