I think what would make for a nicer forum atmosphere is if the theists joined in with some of the less serious topics. Or at least, the non religious topics. At the moment, my only interaction with them has to be butting heads on religion. Which is fine, but it would be nice to hang out as well and just have fun with them.

There is no discord amongst the staff, well, at least in the way we should mod. we are used to disagree with eachother as part of the job. This strike is just a symbolic way that I and others that joined in to make a case. That being the eternal butthurt felt by the receiver of a warning. This is something that is equal between theists and atheists... Some just have big egos. Yet, there is no shame on some to publicly complain about our interventions, including baseless accusations of bias, knowing that to disprove that we would have to reveal who we have warned.
Let me make a rethorical question: how would members feel if the staff made public the warnings people get?

Ohhh...the wall of shame. We could make members walk through the halls while we fling poop at them from our mod cages.
-Then ban them!

Let me make a rethorical question: how would members feel if the staff made public the warnings people get? I thought warnings were public. I didn't know. Hmmm I guess it depends on the individual case. I can't say it matters to me much either way. I'd probably need an example because I've never heard a warning that wasn't related to a public post.

Official warnings are made public, via the Warning Level. The majority of the sanctions meted out happen privately.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

The solution to this, er, problem is simple.
Make a rule against publicly complaining about mod actions.
Problem solved. Next?

Nobody can see warning levels except staff and the person who has the warning, Stimbo. We don't make official warning public as a general rule.

You're right, of course. Brainfart.

I don't like the idea of publicly shaming anyone but Rhythm's suggestion that we fling poo is very appealing.
