Why are us English such prudes? Is it a hangover from the Victorian era, like everything else? I'm English, and not proud of it. I just happened to be born here. Which was lucky for me, there are far worse places. Feel free to send me a private message.

Wow, you guys are so exceptional. I wish my imbred backwater would give up the provincialism they call patriotism.
We still have patriotism but it comes out in short concentrated bursts, like when there's a royal wedding/baby/baby wedding or when an international football tournament is on; it's not inconceivable that we will one day start a war over the result of a World Cup game
