@Chad How do you know that The Son of God didn't come down and speak to people, before he was born of Mary? It is clearly written in Gen, Judges, and Daniel to name the ones I can think of off the top of my head. If Jesus didn't say he was god why do you think Jesus was crucified? When was the last time you studied the bible?
@Rob people study many things incorrectly. (You have already stated you could be wrong.) How credible are your sources for the violent edits of the Bible? Just insulting God is not blaspheming the Holy Spirit. I going to be honest and let you know I don't know all the ins and outs of prayer but it is effective. God is sovereign and if He choose to help you understand who He is he can do so. All I know is that He wants me to pray for all of you. He wants me to specifically pray for you Rob.  If you're serious about learning of the bible edits, I can dig up some sources. Yes, even Christian biblical scholars on the whole accept it has been edited a lot. The biggest part is a well known piece of history. If it's of interest to you, I can give you details. Of course I can be wrong, but if so, then they are all wrong too. It takes a lot for a Christian biblical scholar to concede something about the bible, it's like the final frontier. Feel free to send me a private message.

Can you give me some verses that mention Jesus in the old testament? And if he was Yahweh, why did he act like they were different people. They can't be separate people, and the same person. the bible doesn't teach it. You guy just don't like the idea of being polytheists, so you say they are three and one at the same time somehow.
