But do you accept the argument? If not, why?
Do I accept the argument that you're a special little snowflake and everyone else is stupid? No, because I think it's far more likely that you the one being stupid.

What you did was basically say the same thing i said to you in a different way.
If that's what you mean then how can you possibly say the position of atheism is illogical? Atheism is the lack of belief in gods, so if the concept of god doesn't exist and you just agreed that you would automatically lack a belief in god, then your in the atheist position it just wouldn't be have the same label.

pool, I don't get it. Didn't we agree that atheism is either a logical position or a moral one? Don't you agree that it's both merely on account of being moral as I explained? What's all the fuss about?

His argument is that atheism is illogical because theism is illogical, because atheism depends on theism.

If theism is illogical, then atheism is logical I'd have said.
Believing the world is actually made of special snow is illogical, and not believing the world is made of special snow is logical.
To say otherwise would appear to misunderstand what atheism is, which is always a strong possibility.
Also, atheism is a pre-emptive general stance to an as yet undisclosed claim which is very likely to be unfounded, but it may not be. I'd have to wait to hear it before making a final judgement.
A better question would be, "Is there/has there been stuff going on you aren't aware of and wouldn't understand?" My answer would be, "Very probably."
