I can't even bring myself to step on a fly as a mercy kill. Clearly there is something very powerful stopping me, and it's not magic. I could break this barrier, I could probably with enough relentless "training" eventually be able to kill humans. But it would be going against my own instincts to such a degree that it's not a choice I can make on a whim. I'm programmed not to do it.

Evolution is amazing, and I can see how its effects can be mistaken by those who haven't studied it for magic.
Lets leave that then to the evolution discussion which is a theory that I don't believe in anyway

Fine. Well, I'm going to leave you alone then. If you do decide you want to learn something, I'd be happy to help. Theory does not mean what you think it means in a scientific context.

If you choose to remain ignorant, further discussion is rather pointless.

OK, fair enough Smile Sorry, I missed that you want to discuss it, I thought you were dismissing it outright.

(also tends to be y'all ignoring me time... Sad )

If you ask me it is not unethical to get married if u reach the age of puberty for both sex and with of course the consent of the two people involved and their families.

This sentence here contains the problem.
You may not notice it... most people will not notice it.
The problem is the family.
A young 9 or 10 year old girl has no concept of sex, has no idea what to expect.
Family provides a few hints, like honor and joyous and it gets easier as time goes by... but nothing like an actual sex education. Way too much taboo.
Family is, typically, also the people who want to marry the girl off, almost like if the girl was property to be sold...
In those days of old, she was property... nowadays, in muslim theocracies (and other places), they still are.
The girl herself has little or no say in the matter - actually, she can get married without even attending her own marriage!!

All this not to even speak about the despicable act of female genital mutilation, still in practice in many places of the world, granted it's not strictly speaking a muslim directive (and is present in non-muslim places/families), but it goes hand in hand with the honor code so beloved by the muslim communities of the world.

http://statelaws.findlaw.com/texas-law/t...-laws.html

so the marriage issue is relative and not the same in everywhere and in islam it is the same thing but where judged and criticized because our law comes from a holy book .

It is a cultural thing, marriage... harems seem to be strongly associated with the middle east... where, by design, a few wealthy individuals get to buy females from less fortunate families, while lots of males get none, thus creating a system of sexual frustration which necessitates a few rules...
And you know where to find rules? ... Al qur'an.

Maybe 'Aicha' had a strap-on and nailed the prophet in the butt a few times ??
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

We're told that she became quite domineering, acting in a capacity generally reserved for men of the time in that culture. I doubt she had a strap on, but she probably put her finger up his ass more than once.

Fucking bull.

Shit.

Now listen up. Is the Quran dictation from God, or a fucking health and safety manual? Which is it? If it's a dictate from God, why all the medical nonsense and psychological studies? God says it, you do it. At least own up to that much.

If it's just suggestions for us to consider and to weigh up objectively, then we can evaluate them, take anything useful and ignore the rest. Then we can move on to other books. There are actual science books now with useful, factual information all the way through without interludes from an egotistical gloating psychopathic God.
