[*]You shall have no other gods before Me.
[*]You shall not make idols.
[*]You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
[*]Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[*]Honor your father and your mother.
[*]You shall not murder.
[*]You shall not commit adultery.
[*]You shall not steal.
[*]You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
[*]You shall not covet.

The golden rule

  • AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.
  • "The second is this, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' There is no other commandment greater than these."

[*]

Now I had to copy and paste these, but I did it for God's glory.and therefore it's not a sin.
[*]

That's true.  It is just a banning offense.  But I'm sure you came here to martyr yourself, not make a new internet home.
[*]

Mod off very much off:  Yes, but he was violating the rules for god, and for our own good.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

Looking to do a grand deed for Catholicism.  Not wanting to go to any bother.  Choices are hard.

I'll stop now. I'm sure there are many more wonderful chestnuts but this fruit is just so very low lying.

It's seems simple to me. It should not take a man with a book written by goat hearders to show me a god.

as far as first cause tell me what was God's cause?

Then like all other christians you use your imagination to say that he never had a cause. prove it.

you cant. no one can. If Jesus would have walked out of his tomb in front of EVERY ONE in Jeruselem, walked up to the Roman Judge and the Jewish clergy and said "missed me bitch." ,and then floated away into the sky then there would be no other religion today. Instead a few people claim to have seen him after his death. collaboration was not difficult before the days of imperial science.

logical reasoning (of the first cause) is a great start but not proof. however logic with bias is not logic. you are conforming reality with what you want. Thats not how reality works.

you believe and fight desperately to push your faith so as to find comfort in the hope that there will be something after death. If everyone believed the same way then we could all go to our graves with confidence or dread. I know you dearly wish this but still here we are.

I understand and that's okay. I don't mind if you want to have the faith. The problem comes when YOU have a problem with me for not believing as you do. Don't worry you are not alone by far. I have met many like that.

I'll tell you a secret. If the Christians would actually stop pushing their faith on others and start being the good people they say they are supposed to be then this whole atheism business would probably stop.

True to my welsh ancestors if you(christianity) put your fist in my face I will put my finger (you guess which one) in yours.

The thought occurs to me that seeking PROOF of your god's existence is prima facie evidence of a lack of faith. Attempting to use said "proof" is asking the potential convert to value reason over faith, in direct contravention of the Bible.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer fellow.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

Yet you were the one who came here with an "open challenge to anyone" as a way of using the forum as a pulpit from which to preach your magic book and regurgitate the contents of other websites. If your mythology is so important to you, I direct you to Romans 13:1-2 ...

In other words, you will submit to the Rules of the forum or else accept the consequences.

And this is exactly why I said you are being dishonest.
  • 30/30In addition to the advertising rule, new members must make 30 posts and be a member for 30 days before they are allowed to post external content, such as links, images, or videos. This is to ensure that advertising is not the sole purpose for the member joining the forums. Any posts where the sole intention is to link to external content may be removed by staff, and will not count towards the 30 posts requirement. Once the 30/30 requirements have been met, members are free to post external content, however the advertising rule will still apply. An exception to the 30/30 requirements is when external content is used within a discussion or with the intention of discussion. For example, a member who has not yet met the 30/30 requirements is allowed to post external content if they are using it as evidence in a discussion, or if it is relevant to the ongoing discussion.

You are clearly, being dishonest.I read these rules that's why I THOUGHT I could add the links and videos.

Mods-

Seriously, I read the 30/30 Exception the same way. So did CL when she first joined.

There appears to be a pattern and a problem with the way that exception is interpreted.

Just sayin'.

Yeah, well, your misunderstanding of the rules, which don't seem to elude the majority or members, recently earned you a two-week vacation. I'm not too worried that we're making any missteps based on your interpretation.

Just sayin'.

When can a new member with less than 30 days and 30 posts link to outside content?
